HOOKS Prudence (Prue). Passed away unexpectedly at Harwich Hospital on 7th June 2009, aged 69 years. Youngest Daughter of the late Dick and Olive Hooks. Much loved Sister of Patricia and Sam, She will be sadly missed by everybody who knew her. A private family committal, will be followed by a service of Thanksgiving at All Saints Church, Great Oakley on Monday 22nd June at 12.45pm. Donations, in Prue's memory, made payable to Essex Air Ambulance may be sent to Paskell Funeral Service, 15 High Street, Manningtree, CO11 1AG.

    I was really shocked when I read of Lou's unexpected death. Although this happened over 12 months ago - I have only just read about it. (August 2010)

    Lou and I went "steady" for a couple of years during the mid 1970's. She was a good friend to me and (although it is easy to say) she made getting up in the morning - worthwhile.

    I have attached a picture that I took of Lou way back in the mid 1970's.

    My belated sypathay goes out to her family and friends.
