DAVIES-SHIEL MICHAEL, contagiously enthusiastic Speaker, Writer and Researcher of Lakeland Industrial Archaeology, died peacefully at home in Windermere aged 80 years on Wednesday 15th July 2009. Dearest husband of Noree, proud dad of Simon and the late Stephen, beloved grandad of Brenna. Funeral service will take place at St Thomas's Church, Kendal at a date and time to be arranged.
