LUMSDEN — JOHN MURRAY. Peacefully, at the Marie Curie Hospice, on Saturday, 24th October 2009, beloved husband of Phyllis, devoted father of Mark, Paul and Brian, adored grandfather of Kori, Kelsi and Kayci. Reception and vigil on Sunday, 1st November, at 6.30pm, at St Gabriel’s Church, Merrlyee Road. Funeral Mass on Monday, 2nd November, at 10am and thereafter to Linn Crematorium, Lainshaw Drive. No flowers please. Donations to Marie Curie Hospice.

Report this message By phyllis lumsden on 29th Dec 2011Hello darling, sorry I have not been on to light a candle for you these last few days. Havent been very well since Christmas (probably my cooking). Feeling a bit better now though. Missed you so very much on Christmas day I hope you were watching the grandkids enjoying themselves. especially Jude. His second Christmas and he was right into it all loved all his presents it was good to see him playing with them and he liked the tree as well. He looked so smart in his waiscoat and shirt and tie takes after his grandad in the waistcoat wearing. I could just picture the two of you together in them. I miss you so very much and could have really done with a few hugs these last few days. There I go feeling sorry for myself again. I just can't seem to get over losing you. I never will . I love you my darling Hope you had a good Christmas wherever you are. L love you xx
