Report this message By Clare Cannon on 13th Jan 2012Hi Mum, when I was out walking with the baby yesterday with Grace and dad, I bumped in to the girl I met at the hospital who gave birth to a little girl the same day as me, 10th October 2011.
She asked me what I called the baby. I told her Tess. I know her name is Angelina Tess but when dad is with me, I just call her Tess as I know he loves to hear her name. She thought it was a lovely name.
I asked her what she called her baby. She said 'Sadie'. Can you believe it? Tess and Sadie. How cute is that? 2 small babies called Tess and Sadie after 2 best friends. What are the chances of that?
That cheered my day up.
Lots of Love

Report this message By Clare Cannon on 7th Nov 2011Hi mum, sorry I haven't left you a message in a while. Just wanted to let you know (not that you won't know already) that you have a beautiful new grand-daughter, born on Monday 10 October at 8.39 pm. I called her Angelina Tess after you. She is very like Grace and it is really sad that you never got to meet her (the only grand-child you never saw sadly). She is 4 weeks old today and we speak about you everyday. It is hard to believe that Grace was only 7 weeks old when you went to heaven, but she mentions your name every day. I gave her your fluffy pink princess cover that Tracy bought you when you were ill and your soft pillow. She takes it to bed every night with her and has your photo in her cot with her and talks to you all the time, thanking you for her cover and saying hi ya to you. I hope you hear her every day chatting away to you.
Life is not the same without you anymore. I miss not being able to walk down to your house for my cup of tea and help with the baby. I have even got a new double buggy for Grace and Angelina but with you not there anymore, I no longer walk down Victoria Road. Unfortunately dad is in so much pain now with his legs that it is probably torture for him to walk a short distance round the shops, so there is no point letting him do that.
I have organised another dance this year in your memory to raise more funds for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice who looked after you for the last 2 weeks of your life. I am hoping it will be as successful as last year.
I will go now and keep you updated on how your Tribute Dance went.
Lots of Love and miss you loads

Report this message By Tracy Docherty on 19th Aug 2011Cant believe that it's 2 years to the day that ours lives changed forever. Still so vivid, that 2.15 pm doctors appointment when u were told the worst possible news ever. How u must have felt, it breaks my heart to even imagine let alone how we felt. I feel u gave up that day mum and I don't blame u! What a horrible disease to have to suffer, the pain and suffering u went through for 14 weeks without so much as a moan or a groan. U were so brave and I know u kept ur true pain away from us to protect us. U must have been so frightened and yet u never let on. It upsets me so much when writing this but I feel I have to let u know that u are in our thoughts every second of every day and today starts that terrible 14 week journey of reliving every day until ur last. Please know that u are missed and u left a lot of broken hearts behind. Love u so much and look forward to the day I getvto seevu again.
