It has been just over two years since you have been gone and it still only seems like yesterday. Things are just not the same without you here, without your laugh, without you near.

Dear Mum,

It is nearly a year since you have been gone and I still cannot believe it.

Eliza Ann has just had her first Christmas and it was our first Christmas without you. I think Eliza Ann enjoyed her presents but liked the wrapping paper more!

Eliza Ann is nearly 11 months old now. She waves at your picture in the mornings when we get up. I am sure she recognises you from your visits x
