Peacefully, at The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice on 26th April, 2010, Gerry, dearly loved and loving husband of Kate, Nicholas’s and Jonathan’s devoted and wonderful dad, a loving brother, a favourite uncle, a proud godparent and brother-in-law of the McArdle family. Member of the Faculty of Advocates, former President of the Glasgow Bar Association between 1990-2000, former Strathclyde Regional Councillor, former Glasgow City Councillor and Depute Convenor of Glasgow City Council. Reception and Requiem Mass at Holy Cross Church, Dixon Avenue, Glasgow G42 8ER on Saturday, 1st May at 9.30am, thereafter to Philipshill Cemetery, Westerfield Road, EK G76 9HS. Family flowers only. There will be a retiral collection in support of the hospitals who cared for Gerry. At Gerry’s wish, no black ties please.
