Report this message By Andrew Derek James McFarlane on 18th Feb 2009As a joint tribute to Dad form his son Andrew and from his wife Marguerite, there are no words more fitting than those of the Airborne Prayer.
May the defence of the Most High be above
</p>and beneath, around and within us, in our
going out and in our coming in. In our rising
up and in our going down, through all our
days and all our nights, until the dawn when
the Son of Righteousness shall arise with
healing in his wings for all the peoples of the
world. Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.
Love you and miss you,
Dear Maggie and Andrew(Henghist Pod)

Report this message By Andrew Derek James McFarlane on 13th Nov 2008What Makes A Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dad
