CAIRNS James Suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Hairmyres Hospital, on 16th March, 2008, Jimmy, darling husband of Lou, devoted dad to Brian and Elaine, loving father-in-law to Graham and Christine and a wonderful and doting granda to Lauren, Rebecca and Mark. Will be greatly and sadly missed. Many thanks to Dr Mannis at the Murray Surgery. Funeral service to be held at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Sydes Brae, Blantyre, on Thursday, 20th March, at 10.15am. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired, to Cancer Research.
Report this message By elaine coghill on 3rd Jan 2012Well,Dad,that's us starting another year without you,another year of missing you dreadfully.Iam just waiting on Mum to pick me up we're going to the Thistle,Janette too if we don't get blown away.Graham's flight was cancelled so he's going to london tomorrow but there was no way the Girls weren't going out.We went to the Torrance at Hogmanay and it was rubbish and poor Mum was so upset at the bells it's just weird you not being here.I love and miss you so so much forever and always Elaine xxx
Report this message By elaine coghill on 3rd Dec 2011Well Dad that's Christmas fast approaching and as always I'm well organized got all my presents in just need to wrap them.Mum Janette and me have been to see Engelbert Humperdink and then we saw Glen Campbell last week,it's just not the same coming out and you taking us home and listening to us yapping and giggling away about our night.Graham does it now but as much as I love him it was like a wee tradition that you did it.Have got you a few wee pressies and oh how I wish you were here to get them.Everybody's coming here on Christmas day as usual and it goes without saying that you will be so dreadfully missed.I love and miss you with all my heart Daddy,your wee girl Elaine xxx
