THE DAY YOU WERE LAID TO REST

Today's the 3rd Angelversary of the day that you were laid to rest Mum, and it's a day that will live with me until my dying day. It was without a doubt the saddest day of my life, because I realised that it was not a dream and that it was really true, and I would never see you again.

You were, and still are, so very special to me Mum, and I will never ever forget you.

You are loved and missed every day Mum, and you always will be.

PS The falling leaves are very apt, they remind me of all the teardrops that have fallen on your resting place since you left us to go to your new home in Heaven above.

On your third Angelversary.

There is always a face before me.

A voice I would love to hear.

A smile I will always remember.

Of a Mother I hold so dear.

Deep in my heart lies a picture.

More precious than silver or gold.

It's a picture of my Dear Mother.

Whose memory will never grow old.
