McELROY MICHAEL (MICK) peacefully but suddenly at R.L.I. on 27th August; dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth, loving and devoted father to Lisa, Chris and Paul, much loved son of Doreen and the late Charles, loyal brother to Christine, Gordon, David and the late Peter and grandfather to Christian, Alex, Skye and Mason. His humour and presence will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Following a private cremation there will be a Thanksgiving Service at St. George’s Church, Castle Street, Kendal on Friday 10th September at 2.30 p.m. No flowers please - donations if desired for Cancer Research U.K. c/o Hayes and Parkinson Ltd., Captain French Lane, Kendal, LA9 4HS
